Exhibitions “The World of Kizhi” and “Koli – Today” are now open to visitors in North Karelia Museum.


The most important tourist attractions of North Karelia and the Republic of Karelia can now be found from the same building! Exhibitions of UNESCO’s world heritage site “Kizhi” and North Karelia’s national landscape “Koli” are open to visitors in North Karelia Museum until the beginning of the June

“The World of Kizhi” presents the work what has been done to preserve the valuable Karelian heritage.  The exhibition contains e.g. photos, videos, miniatures and objects. “Koli – Today” gives an opportunity to have a look at fun and insightful environmental art. Works are presented by photos, and artists’ thoughts about the relationship between man and nature is present throughout the exhibition.
